C. Peter Chen is a software engineer and historian based on the east coast of the United States. He founded and currently operates the consulting company Lava Development, LLC. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Rutgers University.

Software Engineer

Pete has 20 years of professional experience as a developer in several industries, most recently being in the defense/aerospace manufacturing sector. Pete has worked with a wide range of things including designing relational databases, coding full stack solutions from the ground up, and working with off-the-shelf ERP systems.

Historian

Pete is the founder of the website World War II Database (WW2DB), and continutes to author content and archive historical media/documents for the project.

Pete is also a credited contributor to two books:
